This second week of blogging while having actual responsibilities at work has been grueling, but also the only way to get through dealing with a 9-5. I was told that I am “doing important anthropological work” here which I really like the sound of. I can’t remember the last time I felt happier or blacker.
The winner of the “Who Said It?” contest was Malika who guessed Isaiah Washington. She has won the right to rant and moan at 100 words or less about anything she wants to and have it posted on my blog. Yeah, I know she could have her own blog and do the same thing, but the prize is that she gets to be in on Thembi’s blog, ya’ dig? So Malika, shoot me an e-mail whenever and you’re on.
Also for those of you who haven’t noticed, you can subscribe to this blog at the bottom of the page and get notifications about new posts.
This weekend is well-deserved. Tonight I’m heading to Exact Change for ACT UP! at the Arts Garage with Rich Medina spinning and the lovely Kelly behind the bar making those margaritas that I suck down so fast. Saturday I’m going totally Phil-ebrity at Schooly D’s birthday dinner, and Sunday I swear I will work on the layout of the site.
Stay smart and silly and have a great weekend!
