Shoulda Woulda Coulda

I’ve been sick and I’m usually really lazy and unprofessional when it comes to recommending other blogs and quoting my sources. But what do you all expect? I’m notoriously self-indulgent and I don’t get paid! Anyway, over the last few weeks I’ve come across some things online that I wish I had thought of first for their intrinsic Thembi-ness and the fact that you’d enjoy them. Anyway, while I get myself together check these out:

Undercover Black Man is sort of a genius, I think. You simply must check his post on what ever happened to the group Color Me Badd, including an audio clip of the black guy from the group being exorcised (yes, as in demonic possession)…

The folks at O Hell Nawl have some serious issues that need to be addressed by intensive therapy. Said therapy should at the very least include analysis of interest in this post featuring some ridiculous white children dancing to Soulja Boy of all things.

Jada Pinkett confuses me, and also confuses Invisible Woman. Like Thembi, Invisible Woman is not easily confused. But Jada Pinkett and her quasi-lesbian KISS roadie look in these photos of her rock band put a permanent crease in both of our foreheads.

Julia Claudine Deveraux is a self-proclaimed geek whose Friday Flashbacks always put me in a state of 90’s bliss. Remember these guys?

God bless Julia Claudine Deveraux. I LOVED Portrait, but I’m also sad to say that their video was the cause of my incessant struggle to create mulatto-like ringlets in my hair like said light-skinned chick in the cut-offs. so glad not be twelve anymore!!

Az Yet performed at the sixers season opener. Not a much of a basketball buff but it gives an indication of how their season will prolly be.
