WWTD Reader Prize – You Suckers.

2 April 2008 4 Comments

Happy April Fool’s Day!

That little gag brought me enjoyment for the following reasons:

1. Those of you who called “Mike Kuhn” got to listen to “Never Gonna Give You Up,” by Rick Astley, one of my favorite 80’s jams. Furthermore, you were so sprung off of some free Devante tickets that most of you actually believed it was just some voicemail/hold music.

2. You missed obvious improbabilities in the original post, such as “We all know that I didn’t mean to offend Devante” – BAH! I guess worse things have happened than the possibility that Larenz Tate would appear in something called “It’s Not That Good When Your Head is Stuck in the Hood,” but seriously?

3. Lastly, “Mike Kuhn,” as in “My Coon”? Jeez.

But, it sure was fun for me…I like sneaking up on people like this:

BEST APRIL FOOLS EVER! Thembi, the shark nabbing Samuel L.? GENIUS! I forgot about that!!

Ha ha ha! I’m glad I didn’t fall for it. If you had mentioned that the show was coming to Detroit and that Lisa Bonet was making a special guest appearance, I might have taken the bait.

People fell for that!Lol, what I find hilarious is people wanting to see a concert from him of all people. I mean he was ok production wise… but really a Devante Swing concert? I know he is strung out on drugs now, but could he ever sing? LMAO.

I could watch that all day not only to see the shark save us all from another screamin and hollerin monologue by sammy j but also to enjoy the stylings of blonde gi joe hottie Thomas Jane pretending he cares that Sammy has something important to say. Don’t he look like a GI Joe doll hmm mmm mmm love me some Thomas Jane.
