Who Am I? Answer

It’s a good thing that dopegirlfresh made a guess because if not for her every single person who bothered to comment would have nailed this (although Joy was first). The man to the right is Oran “Juice” Jones, Def Jam’s first platinum R&B artist thanks to his 1986 hit “The Rain.” The guy with the perm in the center is Mookie Jones, Oran’s successful rapper son. Whenever I do these “Who Am I?” posts you’d think the mystery man would be retired from the industry but oh no, not Oran. In fact, he’s released a whole slew of albums in recent years, including Oran “Juice” Jones Presents The Triflin Family and last year’s Oran Juice Jones: A Harlem Gangsta Story. The latter is also the soundtrack to his latest movie, A Harlem Gangsta Story. I’m not making this up; if you’re masochistic/curious click the links for music samples and a trailer. I’d love to hear what you think in the comments.
Anyway, here’s the video for “The Rain.” I swear the next time a tenderoni dude gives me attitude I’m going to say “You without me is like a corn flake without the milk!” and hope he won’t realize that I stole it from this old school playa.

so why did Oran Juice Jones try to ‘friend’ me on Facebook last week..lol
Damn that “people who you may know or want to potentially stalk” tool
I use to love The Rain!
successful rapper son…have never seen or heard of him
Hee hee I try to be nice but it just ends up sounding sarcastic.
So what do you think? Please be respectful to other readers!
