So much to write, so little time and willingness to hit the ‘publish’ button… in the meantime, check out some of my favorite stuff from other sites!

The photo above is from what Brokey McPoverty has named “possibly the most awesome book ever.” As usual she analyzes the pure crazy with panache, and even treats us to a mind-boggling excerpt from this wildly foolish example of misguided Negroness. Laugh riot.

You may have heard that a phenomenally fresh black girl, Ola Hudson, passed away a few days ago at the age of sixty-two. Afrobella has the scoop on her life – and did you know she was the mommy of Slash from Guns N’ Roses?

I’ve always wanted to do a post on the worst and saddest of Yahoo answers, which has been one of my more reliable sources for “feel smarter,” material since I first discovered the sickness of the Internet and transitively that of the American public. Thankfully someone else already took care it it for me, and the results are hilarious.

My girl Siditty keeps the Annie The Chicken Queen conversation going with more information on what Popeye’s has to say for themselves for throwing such a coon mammy in their advertising.

Police Sketches of Black Dudes

Police sketch artist drawings of black people are notoriously poor and rarely look like anyone in particular. I’m convinced that when asked to describe the suspect, witnesses just describe the last black male they saw, even if they last saw a black male on television. So I did a little Thembi-style experiment by going online and digging up dozens of sketches of black suspects to see just who the strong arm of the law is looking for.
