I agree on both parts: those people balked when they saw such a large group of rowdy kids acting like kids will, and not only that, but black children. Ahh, brings back memories of my youth here on Long Island. I once had a mom assume I had stolen her son's toy at the kiddie pool and she even plucked my arm out of the water to check. I was about six. Those kids will remember this forever. You give a very fair and honest view of things.
