I found your site through the Black Blog Awards category and I definitely voted for you. Thank you for this post. I mourn and miss Michael every day like he was family. He was family to me, I will cherish the memories and love him until the day I die and beyond.

You know, I didn’t like the way that phrase “people die every day” made me feel when MJ died, but I couldn’t articulate why. When my uncle died a month ago, though, I completely got it.

Yes. People die everyday and on this day a year ago someone that millions loved died.

I just don’t understand why people can’t let folks deal with things like this the way they want to. It really annoys me that folks still don’t get “live and let live” the way they should.

People are funny.

I am going to read, because, I like the way you write, and also because, I really did not fully grieve Michael as I was going thru my beloved brothers’ “transition” at the time, ironically, he died months later around the time Michael was buried. I will also nominate your blog in the best post series category, because: Wild weaves, amongst others are some of my favorite posts! I may not always comment, but I do keep coming back!
